SACRAMENTO – California public health officials have confirmed the number of cases of swine flu has gone up to 24 in the state.

The California Department of Public Health on Saturday confirmed 24 cases of swine flu in the state. Officials were testing samples from 110 probable cases.

That’s up from 17 confirmed cases and 55 probable cases as of Friday.
