After a barrage of questions from moderators it appears that Debra Medina has won the Belo debate. From reading the comments made on the WFAA website, it appears voters agree that Debra Medina was the clear winner.
Hutchison and Perry skip the BELO post-debate press conference, again.
Emily Ramshaw @ the Texas Tribune: As expected, Medina was the only candidate to show up for the post-game presser. She said it was because “the senator and the governor don’t want to have that conversation with you.”
I’m crushed!
She reiterated her stances from the debate, speaking out against pork barrel spending in Washington (Hutchison) and loosey-goosey spending in Texas’ own executive branch (Perry).
“That’s not good leadership,” she said.

Perry – 22%
Hutchison – 10%
Sam Marten @ the Dallas Observer: Much like the first debate, Medina emerged as the winner, if nothing else for not being Perry or Hutchison, whom she described as a “team of economic tricksters.” She also gets credit for firing off an explosive press release, which is below, calling “bullshit” on Perry just minutes before the debate.
